harrymuffin, I was also contemplating purchasing a nitro sedan for SCS but, I am considering a pro10. Iíve been interested ever since I saw these cars or might have been a 12th scale run at an indoor carpet track in downtown Riverside years ago. Iím interested in running on asphalt and carpet but, since I know nothing about this class, tires are my concern. Foam for carpet and rubber for asphalt? Just looking for advice before I dive in. Also, what are popular chassis at TQ or is this class just beginning to gain interest?

For carpet we use foam spec tires, 2s 17.5 blinky
Asphalt like Steel City I would start with maybe spec tires, 2S 10.5 blinky.

At TQ I have been trying to get people interested in running this class. Most of the people I know have the Speed Merchant Roadkill 10 that run at TQ. Harrymuffin and I ran our cars last Saturday at TQ during practice.

However at the last 2 iiC we ran our Pro 10 cars and it was a lot of fun.

Some pictures of my Ruby EVO, I'm still missing some screws and nuts, but the car seems very promising to me

I suggest the speedmerchant also,Usa made and built like a tank. For outdoor, any mod motor will do,like toadayy said,17.5 with shirty 2s. 10.5 is still enough to outrun a 1/8 nitro. Not sure what the power situation is gonna be at scs track?

There is no Hex on pancar like these. Wheels are fixed with four screws on 1/10th and 3 screws on 1/12th.

hairymuffin,TOADYY,

Thanks for the replies. Where do you guys recommend purchasing the Roadkill at? Also, does TQ carry spec tires for this class? I recently picked up a TC7.1 after a twelve year hiatus but, I've always wanted to get into this class. Thanks for all the help.

You can purchase the RK10 directly Speed Merchant
SpeedMerchantOnline.com

Be advised that there are 2 versions asphalt and carpet. The asphalt version has a wider chassis but I don't see why the carpet version wouldn't work on asphalt. If you want the asphalt version email Bruce at: [email protected]

Yes, TQ does have the spec tires in stock.

TOADYY,

Thanks a bunch. I’ll probably order one next week. I have to unload some older items to fund this new venture but, man I can’t wait!
