Well, to take what i posted as stated... I have not raced against 1 Blaze converted 235mm Xray in Germany, Switzerland or the US. So not to take away from your product, but they did not end up in the arena / tracks i have raced on since '92.

By coming on board i meant to the races..

Also not much seen on the Pro10 forums on Moosi Masters or the NL boards.

This is a home designed/ made chassis kits. Mostly taking the nice things I' ve seen and made em into a kit tailored to my electronics 😁.
Mostly based on the VIP VTE if you want something similar.

Thats the thing. Most racers in Pro10 use their own creations.
Its just a realy minor class. I love it but without big companies support it will not grow. Also its not best choice for indoor. Tracks are too small ant you cut tires down to the rim in first run

Tire wise, why not use your "old" outdoor tires in the winter for indoor??
You don't have to cut your tires that much and if you keep your tires in good condition, you can easely use them the whole year.
For being a minor class is also up the the circuit owners at the outdoor circuits.
If no one promotes the class or even allows it to be run on the good outdoor tracks, it never will be a major class again.
Look at Germany.
They have the RC-Lemans class and it is doing good.
The Swiss also run a similar class as do some Dutch circuits.
Also the Dutch drivers visit the RC-Lemans series to have a choice for running stock 10.5 blinky or the more faste modified class.

HI Roy,

Good to see you on the forum again. Are you planning to race again the coming outdoor season?
With the German Pro10 masters in velp in september and the rc Lemans series planning to race on several tracks in The Netherlands the Pro10 season looks really promising!

Mathijs

Hey Mathijs,

It all depends on my workload is going to be.
Last year it was like every weekend i wanted to race i had on call duty and couldn't go any further then 45 minutes away from home.
Even the races at the Baanbrekers were the same
That is why i didn't attended any last year.
This year i hope to have a better scedule and i can attend at least a couple of races.

Regards Roy

Its specialist. Most that race it, enjoy the small company of fellow Pro10 enthusiasts. Plus many that are still racing it are the same ones that raced pro10 up until it being dropped as an official class in the 90's.

Because it is so specialist and has a small diehard base, no mamufacturer really wants to commit to a bigger program. CRC, Speedmerchant, VIP are all smaller manufacturers. Its unfortunate Irrgang is not around as it was.the source of many small parts for people running older.cars, like a one stop shop. I have been bugging McPappy to release a 235mm car for years, but nothing as of yet.

I have been getting rid of my old originals to focus on a newer chassis, the old ones still work amazing. but starting with a car that has been designed around a Brushless powertrain and a LiPo is a better alternative, and parts are not rare to find.

Like stated there are.many small series like RC Lemans etc. And even Moosi Masters (german pan car forum).

Pro10 is just like 1:8 2wd Pan, it survives on the tinkerers, and those that enjoy the callenge.

Attached the S100 I am wrenching togeher and my converted DXF Vortex.

I totally agree! I currently run a Roche rapide 235mm, but I also have modernized rc10l, hpi street weapon and yokomo yrx10 (all with roche's rear axle and hubs (it's the most current) (thanks for the sale!)

I really enjoy this class the most. O

Following the tuning process for Xray X10, from Fenix Racing, available now, a compatible bumper that allows more body post options.

Those are wider options, for use with 235mm conversion kit?

Those are kind of replacement for the Xray ones. But you've had a nice idea... ;-)

I'm actually using the same screw that are used to hold the bumper for the body posts, for a narrower option, to use with 200mm Pro10-style body shells (such as the MIX-RC Nissan and Porsche).

The normal location for the body posts was putting them too close to the wheels, making it very difficult to put the body clips.
