This is an old setup guide for 12th scale but it's the same principles for Pro 10 and will get you in the ball park. Anyone want to update it?

Dale upper link is as you say on a pan car. I think the camber gain change is the biggest component.

For exit steering try less rear droop.

Made a few changes, and we had a nice warm day here in the UK so ideal for another run.

Initially tried:
- Less reactive castor
- More castor (7deg)
- New diff balls

It felt a little better, but still short of traction. I then tried:
- More angle on the main shock (nose down).
- Diff backed off
- Less punch on ESC

That was a decent improvement, the car now feels nice throughout the lap. I'll probably go a bit more in this direction, (e.g. thinner oil, softer spring) as more traction will always help at this track.

It's a touch unstable on the straight, but the front wheels are almost parallel, so some toe-out should sort that.

Thanks for the tips and hints

I have found that going a little softer on the front tires has helped a lot in slower sections. You can run the front end far less aggressive and use less steering lock. My car felt more direct as expected and didn't have to scrub the tires so much.
Try it out, it's likely the easiest change to make.

That was released last September. What they just released was a .030 regular weight version of the body.

5 to 5.5mm
If your minimum ride height is 5mm after a heat then put it on 5.5->6

Yes - from experience, NEVER run a forward rake (rear higher than front) . . . straaaaaange behaviors occur then. . .

Gidday Dale,

We still race F1 wide foam on asphalt here. It is similar to your pro ten style cars. There has been a breakthrough in foam tyre technology in the last few years - I'm not sure if you can get something equivalent for pro10, but the Kawada P rubber, Zen Omega or maybe TRG TZ tyres, seem to be a step up on other foam we have tried outdoors on asphalt (we don't use traction compound)
