Default Getting a cheap RC

Hi,
Not sure if this is a good place to ask this but i'll try...
My aunt is looking to buy a RC car for a 9 year old boy, around 30-40 dollars heh. I been looking around and there is so much crap, but don't know which is good, i know none is good compare to what we play with but there must be a good one in that price range. I hope one of you guys might be able to help me out.

I got this for my 5 year old - slightly over your budget (or maybe not in US) , but its the best I could find on a low budget that is not toy crap.

I think its quite good quality , takes bumps , fairly fast , rechargable with charger - interestingly all adverts are green , but all cars I have seen are red

if 30-40 bucks is your budget, you have to settle for something from toysrus or walmart. Real rc stuff will be at least $100+.
