jeepnyy: The t-shirts will need to be purchased separately. But, being a subscriber will net you (at least) a 10% discount.

That's not a bad idea. Ask all of your advertisers if they want to get their name on the shirts, charge them a small fee. You could just have a list of them like you see on event t-shirts all the time. If you get enough, you could probably get the shirts paid for by them and keep your cost to next to nothing amking them cheaper for us buying them. Everyone wins!

Doug, I'm still waiting to hear back from Maxspeed to find out exactly how much they WILL end up costing. He did already design a cool logo and stuff for it.
futureal is the name of an Iron Maiden song -- that's where I got the name from. It was a totally spur of the moment thing. When I switched from BBSes over to the internet I wanted to pick a new handle and after scanning around my room at the time (years ago!) that was what I came up with...
As for companies sponsoring the shirts, I guess I could do that, although then it might end up being more like a race shirt. It's a good idea though. Initially I was thinking that the subscription money would go towards initial orders of shirts and stuff.

In my book, the PEOPLE using your forums have been a great resource (and entertaining).
FYI...Started playing with r/c racing in September. Was in Rookie class for a couple months and got bumped up to Sportsman after some easy wins. Then I found your website...And won my last 3 Sportsman Stock races and have started to dab into 19 turn. It's already being suggested that I move into Expert. Got to I thank some local racers and THESE FORUMS for helping me progress so quickly. Thanks again.
