Oval club race is underway, the second round started not long ago. Touring qualifying begins in a little over five hours.

Timmy Heiser's car was stolen from his hotel room a few hours ago. Sobottka offered up his 19T car, I dunno if Timmy's going to run it or build a new one.

As stated earlier, guys are limited to ONE class in the club race, both for on-road and oval.

Cyrul has been wrenching nonstop since he got here, he has had a small amount of track time, more with oval than sedan. I hear his oval cars were rocking.

I have pics of the Custom Works car, will post when I'm done with my Q runs.

Don't worry about the weird first lap times in the printout there, that was some sort of computer glitch but the final times are correct.

Tosolini (and all Yokomo drivers that I know of) are running the CGM car... and love it.

The Parma Alfa seems to be the "body of the moment" right now.

This is like the 3rd major race in the last 6 months that a competitor has had something like this happen to them. At the on road worlds it was engines, at Cleveland it was someone's car, and now at Snowbirds its someone's car. I hope the find who ever took it and stick a red hot poker in a very uncomfortable place. I know Timmy can get another car, but all the work he put into that chassis is gone now.

That's really unfortunate that people stoop that low at these races. The worst part is that it's propably another racer...

Yeah pretty sad... You should be able to trust other people/racers, everyone is gunna start to get more protective with there gear.

futureal, it would be real nice if you could get a few snaps of those pretty cgm's if possible.

Most guys leave their doors open, or have a lot of people going in and out of their rooms. Sadly, more people are closing their doors nowadays... and I can see why. I mean I probably have $10K worth of crap in here, with my computer and r/c stuff. And other guys have even more: boxes of batteries, tires, motors, etc.

That really sucks about Timmys car. I hope he can get back on track i'm sure theres plenty of peole to help him out. Very bad that someone would do something like that.

being a former jail and booking officer for the ware co. sheriffs offices , its sad to say but true ,, they are people walking the streets that do things like this every day around you... me personally i cant stand a lier or a thief and it erks the crap out of me that people stup so low and are doing this kind of stuff,,

i was down at the snowbirds in 2002 when a idoit stole a car off one of the manufactors table,, i cant remember what kind it was i know it was a touring but luckly they got it back,,, and the last i heard the guy that did it is in prison for other reasons,,,,go figure.

with all the big manufactors there ,, is now a good time to get some good pr and help this guy out,, they giving away stuff everyday ,,,why not give some stuff to help a guy out.

will guys i leaving in a hour for daytona ,, to see the bud shoot out,, might see if i can talk the misses in a little trip o town trip to get a peak at he birds ,,if not i know funeral will have some great pic and coverage for me to read when i get back,,,,

Give SHane some time guys. Trust me when I tell you, it is not easy when you have to race, wrench and report all at the same time. I speak from experience. I'm sure it will be up sometime today.
