Tc3 and Tc4 the same?
Hey, i just bought a tc3 to get back in a little bit of onroad racing here and there. How interchangable are the tc3 and tc4 parts? What parts should i get for backup to when i ram a few PVCs  Thanks!!

most everything is interchangable.
the chassis plate a-arms and the shock towers are the only real changes but still are interchangable. the differences in these are the tc4 shock towers have more adjustability and the chassis plate is built to keep motor cooler and the a-arms are built for more adjustability. but i believe all these parts will work on both. i am pretty sure everything else is identical to the tc3. as for what to keep in your crash case.... a-arms ,hub carriers ,a-arms, hub carriers,oh yeah and a-arms and hub carriers. also you may want to keep an extra set of shock towers and hinge pins. i think everyone that races these cars would agree with this. feel free to pm me anytime. |
THANKSSS
Thanks alot, i better get just a few spares

The TC3 is a VERY good car. You'll love it. I still love mine and I own three :)
No need to buy TC4 parts. MOST hobby shops still carry parts. Also check out Towerhobbies.com. They still have every part, hopups, nut/bolts for the car. You could buy anything and everything you need for cheap price on tower. Also peep out and find a TC3 thread lots of good info about them on setups for racing or bashing. For best info on them check out the forum at RC car action. |
you might want to check for differences in all the hinge pins, dia. and length?
I believe the 4's are larger...... |
Hinge pins are different. Hinge pin carriers are different as well as the steering rack.
