HELP a On-road NOOB
Hi, my LHS is organizing a On-raod course thet will be set up in a non preped parking lot(asphault). My question is what would be the best tire for this situation? Im new to on road racing and would be thankfull to all input. I will be racing a AE TC5R, Novak 13.5, 2s. Whould foams be better, or rubber slicks or patterned rubber? Like i said any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Daniel

The track we race it sounds very similar. they do however use traction compound for race days..... most everyone using speedmind rubber (several different mounting from different companies). Depending on the weather 32's and 36's work well. though in cooler part of fall we may use the 28's.
i think you will find this is your best option (totally my opinion). They will last longer than foam and you dont have to worry as much about truing and tire maintenance.
