imo it would be a competition between hotbodies and xray. as they seem to be the most populer

Yeah, well Ford makes the best selling truck , but it's not the best.

There is no answer and if you do a search you'll find 10,000 questions just like this. All of which have turned into online fistfights.

A fist fight about the best touring car?

I can't believe that. any way the best car is the Kyosho Stallion Shin and if anyone disagrees that can chat with my baseball bat.

A Virtual Fist Fight....

Anyway, as said above, lots of opinion, lots of reasons, etc... Most will tell you to get a car people race at your local track, or the one with the best parts support at your LHS.

My vote is for Xray, it is a tank right out of the box.

You never get something without giving something away....the xray's a tank but costs a ton, the cyclone's fast but not as durable as it could be, the TC5 is cheap but ??? I currently run an xray 008 and a cyclone but, it's time for something new for me too so......IMO, just pick one!

If I had to start over today... right now... I would go with the TC5. Great all around in performance, parts availability, support, ease of use and maintenance. I say this and I currently have an XRAY, Cyclone and TM cars.

I know Associated isn't in your list, but they really do make great touring cars. The TC5 is one of the more durable and simplistic cars they have. I can get and replace most, if not all parts before the next heat. That might be an overstatement, but they really are that easy to work on.
