I copied and pasted this from the new serpent 12 scale thread.

"The kit includes 3 alu servo posts to select from, which enable perfectly centered mounting of any popular brand servo"

So I am wondering if we need to buy different servo mounts. I would guess it is important to have the servo in the center
I hope some team guys will chime in.

Basically, when you back the side tweak springs off of the chassis...........this would be "dead area" Hope this helps.

Hey guys, just have a question. I've been running the xl in mod for a month now and it gets better everytime out. My question is about tires, I see most guys are running magenta fronts and pink rears cut down to 1.6 front and 1.65 rear. I on the other hand leave them a little larger because it just gets to expensive. I race on new high bite CRC carpet and that tire combo seems to be a little to much traction. Does cutting the tires extremely low help with the problem I am having and is there anything I can do to loosen up the car a little without loosing forward bite? I have tried gray rears and purple fronts and it seemed to be good but I have not seen any setup that use this combo. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I've ran mine on high bite asphalt a few times it the kit setup is pretty dialed! I used the 10* caster blocks with both shims in the rear for 4-5* static caster, 4mm ride height ff/rr, pink rears/dbl pink fronts. I was surprised how well it ran compared to my old XII....honestly felt the XL was more consistent the whole 8 mins. IF the bite is low use the softer blue side springs.

Cutting them down will free the car a bit, and with Pinks, I've always found that they wear like iron. Cutting them down that small shouldn't reduce usable tire life that much.
