Small white Kimbrough here with no problems.

Are you using the normal ball studs? they will catch if put on the inside. You need to use the red low profile ball studs along with a small white Kimbrough servo saver.

servo up
..
thanks for sending this, but i was wondering what is meant by 'servo up'?
does it mean the servo is at the top of the angled support?
or does it mean the servo horn is up because the servo body is mounted flat on the chassis?

the lube is a less drastic change than a side spring. Lighter lube will cause your car to be less aggressive, heavier lube will cause the side to side motion to more aggressive. quicker through chicanes... It effects how fast the rear of the car rotates.

Using both, I had to but a spacer in the servo saver to move it forward.

Default Fitting a Futaba 9650

I think I've tried every single combination possible in trying to fit a futaba 9650 to this car in order to A not hit off the servo and B not hit off the caster blocks or the front graphite brace if fitted.

Final solution, using a small servo saver. Use the trailing graphite steering arms that are fitted to the GEN X, mount the servo mount in the furthest forward hole, use a 1 mm spacer not the kit spacer between the servo and mount. Finally most importanty make sure when you attach the servo you pull it as far up the mount as possible and then secure it.

If you mount the servo on the forward holes and then use the kit spacer the steering rods will hit the case. If you let the servo slide down the mount then the steering rods will hit the graphite brace and if you have the spacer, the kit arms and the servo down then it will hit the caster blocks.

Took me far too many hours to get that sorted.

Default Advanced Electronics ESC

So I see CRC has the new ESC's on pre order. Does anybody know anything about them like what is included with the hefty price? Does it come with a capacitor or a programmer. For that matter what do you use to program the ESC and is the software upgradable. I am just curious to know more about the Black Box.

Thanks!

not at the top of the supports but just angled and not flat on the chassis you still want a low cg

Yep, no problem. I have one on my car. You may have to use long screws though.
