With Jaco front wheels, I put the three shims on the inside like the manaul calls for. The outer bearing sticks out past the thick part of the axle slightly. If I tighten the wheel nut up all the way, it locks up the bearings.
no just using the crc tires. Wonder if its better to have the shims on the outside so it wont mess with the width of the wheels?

Anyone know if CRC sells a full screw set (steel or Ti) for the GenX/XL? I've been rounding out the red aluminum ones, and lost a bulkhead screw at the last race. Didn't see a full screw set as an item in their store...

Bill go to Fastener Express and order the sizes you need. They have both aluminum screws and some titanium though it looks like they are a out of some of the ti screws right now. Slowly converting mine to all titanium.

We do not have a steel screw set as of right now. We do sell packs of all the steel screw sizes. All the part numbers are listed in the manual. The only Ti screws we sell are the 4 for the front end part #12393.

We do sell a red aluminum screw set part number 1410.

All parts are in stock at www.teamcrc.com

Just double-checking before I order Part # 1766...the picture on the CRC site does not match the product, correct? The two small rear holes for the micro pod plate are not shown. Thanks for clarification!

Anyone have any suggestions on getting the springs on the perches. when I turn the set screw it looks like it's on crooked. I put the set screw and the perch on the screw right. Just wondering what everyone does. Thanks.

Help this helps,

There was a running change to the part. Part #1766 now has the holes to accomodate the older big left side pod plate, or the smaller micro left side pod plate. So this part will fit everything you might have.

I'm running a Futaba 9650, the JR 3650 is also a good choice.
