Lipo is not allowed in the current EFRA regulation. But I think things will change soon.

I was looking on RED R/C and see where IFMAR has approved LIPO for 2010, now both sides are on the same page. Looks like lipo is here to stay.

Default .

yes thats right, i read it on redrc

but i can't find out if we have touse LIPO at the EC

but they writeat the warm up to indoor EC:
" Running with LiPo batteries, the event is open to a maximum of 120 drivers and entry is based on a first come first served basis."

but does that mean we also have to use it at the real EC?

Current EFRA rules are for 5 cell cars.

For this to change, (at least) one country has to submit a proposal to the EFRA AGM in November. So if you want the rules changed, start lobbying your National organisation!

If no-one submits it as a proposal, it can't change!
