Default Intellect Lipo 7.4 40C

Hello Forum

I've try to find some feedback over those batteries, whitout too much luck.

Does someone have any feedback on them?

Any info is appreciated.

Thanks

they are made by trinity/team epic.... A few guys in the area run them, I have not heard any complaints about them.... One guys claims they are stronger than his thunderpower 5000 40C packs....

theyre only $90 here http://www.nexusracing.com/product_i...oducts_id=2909

They are great batteries and a fair bit cheaper than the SMC equivalent (in Australia that is). In fact Intellect in general are very good.

Thanks to all for the reply.

I wasn't sure about the connection Trinity/Intellect.

As the price, I think that here are quite competitive...

They are made by intellect and in the US Trinity put their stickers on them and charge extra. There are a few shops in Hong Kong selling them at those prices. They are good value at that price.

I was told Trinity tests each battery and takes the cream of the crop - that is way the trinity brand is more expensive.

Yes and then they save the cream for their team drivers, and pass the crud down to you.

You can get the same cells on eBay for $68 + shipping w/ a lipo alarm from HK. Also speedzoneUSA sells them for $85 with a balance connector. Don'w waste your money on Epic...

I don't think there is too much difference in Lipo's either. If you bout 10 of the same brand and tested them, I bet they would all be very very close.

most LiPos out ther r just rebranded... the actual manufacturer of LiPo isn't a lot n mostly in china... i've been ther, visited their factories, looking at how they pack several brands pack... yes some brands opt for better performance cells n some pick lower performance cells as cost variance... unlike nimh, LiPo performance between each cells isn't much different (let's say a batch of 25C single cells)... so a matched cells is almost unrelevant...

so just get a reputable brand LiPo... done...

I can tell you as an employee of Team Epic i get my batteries right out of the same box as ANY other person does. The intellect battery is by far the strongest battery Ive ever ran though. We DO NOT get the best of them considering they are all very equal. The only testing we did was to cycle them on a GFX to get the numbers. Ive even traded batteries with ppl at local races when they said we get the best ones as employees lol

Just started running the IP 5000mah 40C in my Photon and picked up a few tenths per lap over a 30C. Helped put me within three tenths of the #1 guy in our class - three tenths I can almost guarantee is down to driver skill!
