I have 5 GT-7's.

B4
T4
12th scale six pack
TC3
EDM Dirt oval car

No problems, fast and I think a bit smoother than most.

Just my .02

Actually both are still available. They did not stop production on the Q2. And LRP had a lot of Q1's left over so a lot of places are selling them really cheap.
You can get the original Q1 for around $130.00 (at least that's what my LHS is selling them for). Still a better deal than the Novak in my opinon...

Here is my vote for the QC2. The punch using Setup 5 is terrific!

1. Does anyone know where the QC2 can be purchased on the net?
2. Also do you need to purchase anything else with it or does it have everything you need already with it. I.e. case or capicitator?

Cheers!

Do a Yahoo search for the QC2. But I think Ultimate Hobbies has the ECS the cheapest.
You do not beed anything else to run the QC2. I did buy the LRP Wolrd's Kit for it and the Novak Schotty Diode wire harness for it. I would strongly recommend both items for anyone with an LRP ESC's. The Worlds Kit added a lot more punch and helped with some minor interference problems. The Novak wire harness also help with some interference and smoothed out the speed control a lot. Plus I no longer have to solder the Schotty Diodes to my motors!

I found Associated customer service the worst ever! But the guys in the LRP customer service side were great. I now have the gt7 in my new cars.

any 13 or 12 ga silicon wire will work...Novak, Orion, LRP, or Deans work best... you'll have to solder them to the tabs...
