Default Micro Carbid Cutter

I purchased the fine micro carbide cutter from Rob Murdock. $25 plus shipping priority mail. Rob sold me on the fine cutter versus the course cutter, based on the fact that I run 1/10 Touring car and 1/12 scale only.

Thanx, to all that have tried to help me!

Do these bits work with something like the Trackside truer? I'd love to get rid of that sanding drum....

Default Carbide cutter for AC Cobra tire lathe

BigDon18,

The Hudy cutter does not look like it will fit in the AC or trackside truer.

I believe the AC Cobra cutter has to have a 1/4 in round shank. I should have my cutter in a few days. If I can get it to work, I could take a digital picture and post it for you.

I ordered the cutter from

http://members.willinet.net/bmurdock...Hobby_Shop.htm

There is no picture on the website.

Go to www.micromark.com. Part # 81961 is the one I am using. It's a coarse one. They have a fine one too. 15.95 a piece.

Default Carbide Cutter from MicroMark

AKRCRACER,

Does the cutter you bought from micro mark have a 1/4 inch shank that fits directly into the AC Cobra tool holder?
