Questions?? What rubber tire's to run on asphalt track?

Ok here is the senario, here in Tx we run the RP36 tires on an asphalt preped track for are 1/10 electric class. Now since are local hobbie shop is unable to get them any more(not being made anymore) were needing a new rubber tire. I seen that "Muchmore" has a very good selection of tires out Sweeps and Absolute TC rubbers. Has anyone tried these on asphalt if so how do they hold up? Are track temp varies from 110-140+.

Be aware you have to still glue the Sweeps, since they are only mounted to the rim, not glued. I have some Absolutes in my box now that I have not used yet. They are truely pre mounts in that they are glued to the rim. I hear the tires are good but the wheels are a bit brittle and break easily if you tend to hit things. Good thing with the Sweeps not being glued is you can change out the inserts for something else before you use them.

Your best bet if you shop can get ahold of them is Sorex 36R's. Sorex are just awesome tires period.

Yes, Speedmind wheels which have been pretty durable imo. There is also Speed World that has a deal with Jaco mounting the Sorex Tires on the new Jaco Prism wheels. I have yet to run any of those and you would have to call Speed World direct to order them.
