Good luck finding them because I think all Jaco is doing anymore is the Green and Blues. You may find someone that has old stock lying around, but doubt it.

Big Daddy8, You can have your Hobby shop call or email Billy at Speedworld if they would like to carry the Sorex SJR's. They are a great premount, most are getting 20-30+ runs with little drop off in performance.

http://www.speedworldraceway.com/Con...tore_Hours.cfm

From what I was told about the new jaco's is that they will have a new insert with the same tire, but that's what I was told.

As for the Jaco orange's, I don't think they were ever released on the prism rims and they were hard to find when they were available on the dish rims.

Thanks for all the input on the tires, guys. I love the black rims. I'll talk to them about the sorex tires. This was the most help in the shortest amount of time. Thanks

As far as prepping your Sorex rubber goes, Here is Billy's (owner of Speedworld raceway and importer of Sorex for the USA) recommendations:

You can also use paragon for 1 minute then wipe off and heat the tires up if you want.

Hope this helps Billy
Personally I've been using Paragon FX2 for about 5-10 minutes, and then scrub w/ simple green. It seems to work quite well. I just got a bottle of Trinity Tire Tweek in the mail a day ago, so I'm going to try this w/ the FX2 next race day...

is nexus a wholesaler or just a on line retailer, not sure why a hobby shop would buy from another retailer. call Speedworld or look on the web site to find the distributor, The Speedmind sorex tires are also a great combo.

skypilot, i guess you could say a little of both... 60% of their business is done on the internet.....

The other 40% is done in locals.... They have a track and hold races there every winter....

Note: i have no idea if those numbers are correct but its somthing like that...
