I've got the 103 size--I'll be interested in Ride 104 tires/wheels when you get them.
Thanks Sean--

Just thought I would post a pic of my f109 . Just got done reconfiguring the layout so this is what I'm going to try this weekend and with the f104 front end on it and the 180mm track width makes it a little twitchy so I think this will makle it more stable with the battery this way.

I thought about that too but in hoping with the weight now more towards the back even with more steering I hope it keeps the rear planted more.

Keep us posted Jeff.
You might want to try a stiff front spring with that setup.

If your in Australia and want to get an F1-09 try

www.topgunrchobbies.com.au

they have them on sprecial for $125 AUD which is cheaper than anywhere else I just bought mine from them and was happy with the service

Now to get some ride rims and tyres - so the best ride tyre/rims are the f103 - A type (for asphalt use)?

Can anyone tell me if the "Tamiya (#54161) F104 Low Friction Suspension Ball Set" will fit onto the F109 front suspension arms?
As these look very similar to the kit F109's units

That's what I use. The kit alu ones wears quite quickly and gets sloppy. There's a small play with the Tamiya balls as they are slightly smaller but the wear is very low - I just use the lower balls.

Hi Inzane on your F1-09 what size Ride rims and tyres do you use (f103 or F104)?

Also on your F1 website there is a pic of about 5 F-60 bodies all decaled differently. Is it possible to get any more shots as teh Virgin body looks great along with the others

Default Boras GP - second Cup race, second TQ&win!

The second Swedish F1Cup-race went pretty much the same as the first in Gothenburg - TQ, overall win and a new lap record in the A-main

I've made some minor changes since the last race. Softer springs; AE 3.75lbs. rear side springs and 0.20 AE front. The center shock is raised 2mm in the rear and the droop increased to 3mm (unscrewed the ball holder 2mm). inserted a 0.14 AE front spring inside the center shock (on the shaft between the piston&shock body). Ride height is 5mm rear and 6mm front. I feel getting very close to a perfect setup for the Ride medium tires on asphalt.

Edit ....

Oh I forgot - i didn't need the 40 gram extra weight on the motor pod - the car handled like a dream even without it.

End Edit ...

The control tire for the Cup is Ride medium F104 tires - that is what we all use regardless of chassis.

Hi all,
Just brought myself a F109 and was wondering what hop-ups from Tamiya fit the 3Racing? If someone could give me a list of the hop-ups that fit, that would be very much appreciated.

Cheers,
Liam
