I also ordered the Yeah Racing alum rear axle for the F103 and compared it to the stock FRP axle and they are identical.
It's very very cool that 3Racing made so many parts of the car interchangeable with the Tamiya products. I think that will help the popularity of the car tremendously, it sure helped me in my decision to buy it.
I was going to run a std sized servo but after looking at all the installations decided to order up a low profile servo instead.
I still need to order up the CRC spring kit. Are there any other spring kits that are similar if I can't find those? I see somebody mentioned using Associated springs, what car are those from?

i used the Corrally springs and adjusters from the new 1/12th sale from them but the springs are too hard i think causing the rear to have no rear grip , just bought the hop up srpings from 3Racing and this was better but still no tweek screws

Thanks! I will probably start out on the stock tires and also pick up some F103 foams for comparison. It sounds like going with a medium grip front / high grip rear is the way to go with these cars. The local guys are running the Tamiya B foams in the front and A foams in the rear. I don't know if the F103 / F104 foams directly correlate or not.
I know a lot of guys out here ran Zen 25 in the rear and I think 35 in front. I also liked Tamiya soft HBR all the way around, or med HBR in the front and soft HBR in the rear

any one got any set ups for rubber tire low to medium traction track.I have tried every thing with this car on rubbers and it just wont produce any rear grip. My 103 eats it on rubbers.

Yeah the F109 is a shocker on rubbers..well mine was outdoor ashphalt track but foams were amazing..softs on the back and hards up front were dialed.

it is something to do with the pivot point and where the rear end moves in corners

Could you or someone else explain me more, please?
About that 3.5 offset knuckle, don't you think is too much to use it since using f104 wheel will put the f109 wider in front?
Best regards

The new wing set from 3Racing updates your F1 to a more 2010ish look.
It even comes with an integrated diffuser - nice one 3Racing!!
hmm ... I know - I need to get me a new body

Nice- Does the diffuser work?
does the new front wing add steering? Seems pretty busy w\ all the air dams and such.
When I ran oval-the only thing that really made a difference was side plate size.
