Here is my dilema. I was running my f109 for the 1st time to see how it drives. I was surprised on how it handles right out of the box. I had one issue though. When exiting a left hand sweeper and giving full throttle, the car is planted. When exiting a right hand sweeper and giving little throttle to full throttle, the car spins out. You guys have any suggestions on what I can be? The car is box stock. I am running the tamiya silver can motor with CC sidewinder ESC. Any help would be appreciated.

Yip they fit..thats what I used.
just remember that the threads are smaller for the ball end so need a 3mm tap I think it was if you want to reuse the F109 ones or get some with smaller threads to match.

Hi Guys
I've just put my 3 racing f1 09 together, first time I've had an f1. How do I set my caster to 4 ? there are markings from -2 to 6 but nothing I can see to line it up to. Also there is approx 2mm sideways play on the rear axle, is this normal ? I would appreciate any help.

for caster it depends how you drive , i set mine as per Inzane's set up fully forward but i fund it too twitchy on turn in , so i pulled it fully back towards the servo and it settled the car for me

i have no sideways movement on my rear axle

check that the differential mounting is screwed tightly to the axle

Just got to slacken off the grub screws for the wheel holders, and push the wheels in closer.

i saw that hpi is coming out with a new renault body. it looks pretty good and i thought it fit my 109 since the length of the car is about the same. then i saw the price of it, $47 for a body. thats ridicules. you can get the tamiya 104 f60 body with front and rear wing, wheel spats, stickers and the helmet for $26. hpi isnt going to go far with their f1 program with those prices.

Where I can find this alu servo mount part?

Btw S9650 should be fine? I use this small servo in E12 and GT10 (10R5
200 mm pan car), and it works nice, but maybe for F1 is too small?

Anyone have an idea if the rubber cross wheel and tire for the f103 is any good as rcmart is out of the good trg rubber .
