RCGT on Carpet?

Hey everyone... I'm really new to on-road so this may be a silly question, but is it possible to have a RCGT class on carpet?

My local shop only runs carpet but I love the RCGT look (so realistic) and was wondering if this class can be run on carpet. I know the RCGT runs the X-Pattern treaded tires but I'm not sure how they fare in terms of traction vs. the Jaco Blue slicks used for carpet.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Its not a problem. Not going to handle like a TC but its just fine. Out parking lot race was rained out last weekend and we moved inside to the carpet.

Get the belted pro X patterns. The handling will be fine.

Do you have a link? I found the pro and the D compound but did not see the "belted" version. Thanks.
