Congrats to Linger, Racenut and Steve on the first race of the season.

Was Linger using his 414/TA04 combination or did he finally switch to Evo3/TB02

Ok I will go back to eating my Polvoron....

Thanks for having us up there. The weather did cooperate on Sat, but Sun was a completely different story. You guys did a great job by recovering what was left of the race day with all the computer glitches and problems that was going on. Racenut, it was a pleasure meeting you, next time don't wear shorts. I was wearing two layers below my belt, and three layers above my belt, and I was still cold. Great job, keep up the great work.

I would have entered your Mini Body Hebiki but since you were not there I would have felt bad for doing so.Anyways, your body was the winner of the Mini A main though! Totally helped being it was so bright yellow and we raced our main almost in the dark. We'll see most of you guys at your regional!

Sipa! Thanks for the 20 weight oil bro....Saved my life for sure!Car was railed after I switched the back oil out.But I gotta give props to all the amain guys{except the hack in the red mini with the Billy ray cyrus mullet} in mini.Jaime made that race very tough for me but really rewarding!Everyone made our race very exciting and probably one of the closest and best races all day! That was truely anyones race.

Linger....you deserve those wins bro!You had real tough comp all day and drove super smart!Who says always a bridesmaid and never a bride!?

Niel....I feel your pain. But I hope when I get an f201 I can drive it like I stole it like you did.Your the man in my book!

linger is still using his 414/04R combo, but he now has a spanky new TB02!

A big thanks to the Hobbytown crew for overcoming all the race gremlims.

I've already won more than my fair share, and I wouldn't be surprised to see an TCS rule amendment that goes something like this:

"Racers that have won the “GRAND” prize, (a.k.a TCS National title) and racers names Ling Tong are eligible to participate in regular season TCS races. They are also eligible to win the first place trophy, however they are not eligible to win prizes that are associated with first place."

Hey Ling...Congrats!

I was following you for a while in GT1, but as you know, the 3rd place guy decided to have some fun with me, and we both got the bad end of the stick. Had to try and come back from the back of the pack, but time ran out. Oh well, Too bad... It was my first TCS race, so coming in 4th isn't too shabby. Plus I have to give a big applause to Marc for coming back and taking 2nd after being hacked to death in the first 2 laps. Let's see what we can do at the TCS in SoCal later this year. I'll be more prepared!

A word to Tamiya. Please look at the rain seasons for each region when you are planning out the races. For me, this was the worst racing experience ever. I'm sure there are worst. But right now this was the worst for me. Cold and wet! Aurrrggggg

Don't even ask about Seattle then.

We almost rained out. Thanks to the hi spirits and a little sun at the perfect time we got 03 done, and that was in August

Thumbs up

I am new here, so bear with me if I make the wrong comment. First off, I would like to give a Big Thumbs UP!! for those who have come from so far only to see some rain and computer glitches. But the Hobbytown Guys managed to still keep it together and keep TCS going

Especially to the So Cal Boys who came up but left early because of the delay in racing. Gary will probably extend on this but from what the causes to the computer glitching was due to so many plugs being tapped in the Power Strip that was only suppose to contain the Computer and Public Transponder equipment. I didn't really think of it when Gary told me what cause the glitches, but it made sense when he said with too many chargers, soldering irons, power supplies, compressors, etc. going on and off would cause problems.

Plus, as many of you know that Windows is so moody at times, that if it "hiccups" then the program goes screwy and we all do the CTRL-ALT-Delete thing to get out of it. Well, I'm assuming that if Gary were to do that, then the program would have to be restarted and stuff was lost. I know he's already thinking of solutions in the future so that this never happens again.

I would also like to thank Brian with Tamiya for bearing with the delays and sticking with the Hobbytown guys.

Still trying to figure out what that Capacitor is doing to my battery,
Andrew
