Serpent Purple - yuck !
I am so disapointed that serpent had places the ugly purple everywhere on the car, (710) I wonder if I can replace all those purple parts with regular silver ones?

well, if your willing to trade time for money, you can use easy off oven cleaner, or a dilute solution of lye (the drain opener chemical) to etch off the anodizing. you'll then need to polish everything, which is what takes the time.

purple, blue, red, yellow, pink who gives a flying crap what colour it is...if it works...let's just shut up and race! :P

oh..and as for etching off the anodizing...Anodizing also adds a degree of surface hardness to the material..will that get damaged and removed through the process of removing that thin layer of material?

or...if u got money...reanodize them what ever colour you like..:DI hoping mine to be red.

I have no choise about the engine heat sink, but I would like to change the egine mound and pieces where the wheels sit and the O-rings that hold the gas thank.

In reality, I guess the only thing bothering me is the o-rings and engine mount.

as soon as serpent comes out with the alum shocks though, I will get those. I just hope they are silve and not the color of the pivot balls.
