Default GM SX9 Frequency Setup

I went thru the english portion of the manual several times and it states that without using the Commanger, you can change the frequency from 1khz to 4khz and back again. HOW? Is that what the #4 programming setting changes, the frequency? Any help you guys can offer I would appreciate. Great speedo, crummy and confusing programming

The manual says you need the commander to change it from something other then 1khz or 4khz. but then again, the manual isn't well written

I also have a SX9, I looked for the other post so that I can set my speedo. If you could post the instructions again I would appreciate it.
