Default LRP TC Spec heat question

I was running 13.5 today and halfway during the mains, the throttle seemed to hesitate when entering the straight. The track temp was about 128 deg and the motor was coming off at approx 165 deg. I took the fan off the TC spec (mostly because it was falling off anyway) so did a heat problem cause this hesitation? Thanks.

What was the temp on the ESC heatsink?

Try using the 'blue LED' method of measuring the temp of the ESC to see if it was close to shutdown.

I temped the ESC at 143 deg but I also see that I can get the ESC to tell me how hot it was getting. I'll check it out next Sunday.

The lowest number of LED flashes I ever got was 14, it was typically 16, even on a warm day (30degC air, 45degC track)
