Default Nanda NRX-12

Guys, i want to introducing you the 4wd-M chassis made by chinese brand Nanda called NRX-12.
Please take a look here, then make a comment about it: if is any good, nice design, better or not between other chassis, please?
As i know this should be the same size as other 4wd-M cars as we saw in the market, unfortunately i didn't see yet this chassis appearing in any 4wd-M races, then someone said this is not the same size as others 4wd-M cars that's why it is unable to put in race.
But i don't believe, then somebody could help to ensure of my affirmation then explain about that, please?

according to the user manual here, the track width is 165mm with a wheelbase of 210mm, that's fairly standard

I'd just like to see who's distributing these cars... I've got a rebrand of the 1/10 version (Exceed DriftKing) and would like to know if some parts are compatible such as the front uprights..etc

guess they don't allow direct links to the manual, I found a distributor here that is selling them with free shipping, seems like a really good deal with all the included hop ups:

NRX-12 User Manual

After carefully browsing the manual, it appears that most of the driveline parts are identical to the Exceed DriftKing, except shorter suspension arms, shorter CVD's... I'm really considering of picking one up!

Good deal only if the quality is really, really good. Otherwise, if the quality is junk, you might as well get the Atomic VM2 at $160, free shipping.

sure would be awesome if NitroRCX would add the NRX-12 to their distribution as a RTR:

with upgrades the 1/10 version of the NRX-12 performed well for me at the club level, more information on my experience with it here:
http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120646

The diff gears are good up to a 17.5T motor, but they stripped when I ran a 13.5T motor and pushed it too hard. Durability was decent, though not quite at tough as my TC6... I still keep my Nanda NRX-10's as loaners, no plans to sell them anytime soon.

The VMII is currently out of stock, plus many of the spare parts are out of stock too Are there other sources for parts than this place here?

EGR Mart carries the Atomic VM2 and parts. They are overseas but I had no problems ordering from them. You get what you pay for though, that car needs work...

Heh, EGR Mart is out of stock too, and seems to have a suspiciously similar store front as RC Atomic, appears to be the same physical store but perhaps may be hosting 2 virtual store front channels.

I'm not a fan of battery slots in new chassis. Don't know much about the market for this size of chassis. Some tracks run Tamiya only while others run all the other brands like the genetic and the kits that shrink a touring car.

does someone sell a kit to convert a TC6 to 1/12 car? That would be another consideration as I plan to retire my older TC6.0 cars anyway.

In a perfect world, I'd have a platform that shared the same front uprights between both the 1/10 and 1/12 version of the cars to make it easier on having less parts in my pit box

EGR Mart should have some soon. I saw some in stock the other week. You can email them on when they will have more in stock, they are pretty responsive.

For those interested, I've since bought the NRX-12 and have reviewed the car here:
http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/sho....php?p=1936289

If anyone is interested in significantly increasing durability of the car, I will cut you a new custom CNC bumper out of Kydex for $15 shipped in the US. My custom bumper is about a year and half old and has been taking tons of abuse. I haven't broken a single arm or hub carrier once on the car yet. I've let kids test drive the car and they've driven it @WOT straight into walls/curbs and the only parts broken have been stripped gears, ha!

I've reviewd more than a handful of 1/12 TC's and the NRX-12 is by far my favorite!

These look a lot like the Sportwerks Recoils from a handful of years back. If so they were a great class for entry level parking lot racing.
