Default TC3 MOTOR/GEAR ??

will be racing novice class 1/10 and will be using the TC3 for a car.....question is what would be a decent brushed motor/pinion/spur setup for this car, guess the rules are "run what you bring" so am looking for suggestions, low maintenance motor would be best but still competitive ...thanx

You should look into a brushless with lipo. Very low maintenance and you can also pick up a decent brushless esc and motor for pretty cheap.

well it all depends on the motor you are running?
we used to use a 68 to 75T spur on 27T brushed motor with a 29-32T 48DP pinion. as said depends on the turn of the motor.....
