Never broke a arm on that car. Knock on wood. Haha Or bent anything

I think if you were to crash that bad they'd pop off.

I am really not worried about how they pop off not in a crash. What I am looking for is the least amount of slop with out sacrificing any smoothness. I was just going to buy the eyelet sets off of the xray 009. I think I'll give the mi4's a shot as long as they are not dumb expensive.

Thanks

the schumacher cars i've seen are using rpm rod ends. so if your planning to buy mi4 ends, the guys are replacing them with rpm ends. (unless rpm comes standard?)

I am surprised that no one mentioned the plastic bag trick.

When you pop you joint on to the ball put a layer or two of a plastic bag (from parts) tear the rest of it away and it leaves a little piece in there and molds into the voids and perfect. Feels like new

That is crazy. I was just going to mention that. Except, I used teflon. It works great.

Since then I have gotten a Top photon, and it is the smoothest ball cups with zero slop. I highly recommend them if you can make them work on your car.

I've picked up a couple of photons and was surprised at just how little slop there was with them. The balls and cup seem a bit bigger than say Xray.
