A Few ???s plz

I have a sprint 2 chassis setup for grip. Im lookin into modding it abit. I have two questions; i ordered a fan for my esc, and im wondering if i shud mount it blowing or sucking air onto the fins.

Also I have some deans in the mail that will be going between the batt. and esc. they are going to have alittle wire pre-soldered onto the plugs already. Am I really going to benefit if i cut the tamiya plug, and wrap/splice the wires from the deans plug to the batt together instead of takin the pre wire all the way down to solder points?

mount the fan so that it sucks the heat away from the heatsink its better this way as opposed to blowing hot air back onto the heatsink, doing that will not make things cooler.

use the plugs dont hot wire you will not feel any difference 95 percent of the racers use plugs unless your using Nic. metals

I had decided to mount it blowing air across the top of the fins. how about that??

So ur saying that i should sodler them, and that i have failed at getting plugs with wire already soldered to them in attempt to prevent soldering in the first place..:(

just switch the plugs dont worry about the wire that comes with the new deans plugs

In attempt of not makin another thread, Im having some noise in my drivetrain. Its seems to be a clackin noise. Last time i had it, there was a rock in my gear mesh, and i got it out and it went away. Now there are no rocks in..

If you changed your gears recently , are they not meshing to tightly ? try moving the pinion back a fraction of a mm away from the spur.
