Raced my car over the weekend at the LHS new carpet track. Managed 3rd in the A main despite being a TC newbie.
Anyone having issues with the battery tray? I'm managed to break the narrow end pieces two times, tore out right at the corner.

I have been running the JL-10e in my local VTA class and have been kicking but for it being my first time racing any rc ever...
Kael, I had the same problem... the front "gate" thing broke off in my first race and I didnt know anything about it until after the race... The guy who was pitting next to me was like "What the heck is this big piece of plastic from on my car I can't figure it out" LOL it was the part that broke off of mine that got sucked up into his car and stuck there lol.... All I did to fix that was took those gates off, and took 4 zip-ties and put 2 of them together and just wrapped it through the hole and kept the clips on the other side.. now if the battery shifts the zipties will have more give then the "gates".... also try and put some foam or something below your battery to have it fit more snuggly in the box vertically... and tighten the pieces on top...
I really like this car vor vta but am choosing not to run it in rubber tc due to the shaft..

Try 60w shock oil front. 40w shock oil rear. Try the white springs from kit# 38469 in front and the red springs from kit# 38490 in rear. 1 degree toe out in front. 1 degree front camber. rear camber 1.5 degree. toe set at factory. Front downstop 5mm rear 6mm. ride height 4.5 front 5.5 rear. This was also on hpi x pattern tires. This was a good starting point for the carpet track at O.C.R.C.
Hope this helps
