Mosaics, I just got one a couple weeks ago and for the cost it's a great way to get into 10th scale on-road. I also have an IGT2 brushless and have spent a ton of money on the electronics for that car. I really didn't want to overspend on the JL10e since I have a tendency to get excited about a project then never touch it again. So I decided to go with a couple hobbyking 2s lipo hardcases for $60 shipped and picked up a Speed Passion 17.5 Citrix esc/motor combo for $75 to get things started.

Regardless with what u go with, you really can't beat this budget car.

js
yea BL conversion cost to much. i went with single speed on mine with 2200kV since i dont wanna spend more $ for a remote.

that i was thinkin for the money you cant beat the price on this one. ill probably get it this late this wk since d kit comes built already except for electronics.

thanks

Trust me this car can hang with all those cars, I've out ran hot bodies TC's TC5s and tamiyas with my ofna car using a brushed setup in my car. Its all about setup. You should be good with this car. I use 17.5 motors so i wouldnt know where to help you on those mamba motors, so im no good there.

Default Associated Battery Cups

Finally put on the Associated battery cups instead of the stock ones, awesome difference. Cleaner look and a slight bit easier to swap out the battery w/o any tools. I say slight because it still takes a little bit of finger work to remove holder, but it's definitely better.

Thanks for the post with pics Papero (I think that's how it's spelled) and the instructions you pm'd me.

I reported it. Death to all SPAMMERS!!!!!

Back on topic. Anyone got any VTA setups? I went through the entire thread and only saw references but no VTA setups. Will be using a Havoc 2S and a 25.5 SS with a 3800 35C lipo. WIll be running a HPI 68 Camaro body. Original plan was to pick up a used TC4 roller but after reading the thread, I am now planning on getting a JL10e for both VTA and maybe a second for RCGT. OFNA seems to be the only one catering to someone wanting to get into RCGT, VTA, &/or the ABC TruSpec series that doesn't have an older car laying arounddoesn't wnat to buy used (new people just getting in will ahve a nard time with a used car that is not up to par) and doesn't want to spend big bucks on the latest, greaest Carbon Fiber wonder ride. Associated, HPI, & LOSI expect you to buy a RTR and strip it for these series. OFNA is providing just the roller which gets you in cheaper (115-130 vs. over 200 for an RTR that you will be chunking the electronics, body, and tires/wheels to set up your car).
