Does anyone have any good tips on making mods to the JL-10e since it's been out for a while now. I really like this car a lot and just got my hands on some cash to throw at it. PM or post if your willing and able.

The only upgrades I did to mine were front cvd's, rear universals, and front spool. Also running 64pitch gearing.

This helps big time. I should have looked a little harder myself. Are a lot of the abc car components compatible?

Thumbs up

Yeah Im interested in a carbon fiber chassis for this car as well as a carbon fiber top deck heck even shock towers too since the stock ones are too flexable, also js058515 put some locking washers on your motor mount screws that bolts the motor down to set your gear mesh, these cars are notorious for backing out in any little crash causing your spur gear to strip this is how I lost a race couple of weeks ago or grind the motor mount cam until it sits flushed so both screws clamp the motor down evenly. And your welcome on the gearing situation if you need any help just ask.

Cant wait for the results, let me know how it goes. If you have any questions i'd be happy to help.
Hey, i was wondering what shocks you were running and how they compare to the stockers. i was thinking about getting some T2R shocks myself.

Yeah this car has some parts that are compatible with the mini ABC. Now I hope a carbon fiber chassis with carbon fiber shock towers come out soon, this car would be way better if they come out with parts like that for this car. Now on the parts situation TQ has some replacement parts for the ofna jl10 so if you live in southern socal and have this car you can get it thru them.

Where can you get a JL10-e online. I can't seem to find anyone who carries it? I really don't want to get hosed by my LHS.

The above sites have them. Rcslot is the cheapest. Horizon, I think, will give you free shipping, but they're not the cheapest. Stormer Hobbies had listed for about $105, but they're out of stock. If you want to find other sites, just Google the part number which is OFN34720.
