What don't you get? You questioned the cars ackerman, the build and even suggested people should buy another car on it's own thread. I showed you what it can do. Simple enough for you?

Seriously, there is a lot of cars out there that you don't have to spend big money to be competative and it appears that the JL10e is one of them. I for one don't have this car yet, but by reading and seeing the support of a car that retails for $129.00 is intriguing.

PS MikeXray if you are an ackerman theory professor and a chief designer of rc cars I apologies in advance for my ignorance.

You said that the Cyclone S was a better built car right?

The Video shows the JL10 Lapping Down Cyclone TC's which is a much better built car than the Cyclone S.... The Cyclone TC is the top of the line car from hot bodies Cyclone line correct? and the Cyclone S is the Cheaper version of the TC?

So why would spending an extra $25 on a Cyclone S be a better buy?? When the JL10 is already capable of lapping down the Cyclone S's top of the line brother the Cyclone TC?

does that answer you're question?

I am not in anyway putting down the Cyclone S or the Cyclone TC ok? I have Friends that drive the Cyclone cars and i believe they are good cars also.

I've been racing 11 years and throughout those 11 years if I learned one thing its the driver over car. Setup matters most and since you're all grown adults that indulge in this hobby I'd expect you all to know better than to put down different cars. Big deal if this has this and the Cyclone doesn't. I'm sure there's some sort of compensation in set up to make a car just as able as the next. I'm making the move from a Cyclone TC to an Ofna JL-10, and I'm sure ill be just as capable of a driver regardless of chassis. I'm sure some chassis do have an edge over the next but I'm able to sleep at night not having to worry about it. =).

Amen...

I will not say just how many Yokomo's, HPI/HB's, Kawada's, etc. I own that are collecting dust since my purchase of the JL-10.

Just FYI, the JL-10 has made a better driver out of me!!

Saw some jl10's practicing today at cam and they were freaking dialed, Im horrible with names so sorry who ever it was that showed me his jl10 and talked to me about it for awhile that i cant remember your name but it was much appreciated and will be ordering a jl10 this week, was fighting my setup all day with my xray only to see a $129 car blow by everyone there for practice including factory drivers from HB, Xray, Top, and others.

If anyone would be willing to share there set up for the RCGT finale at cam with me that would be awesome.

Also i will probably shave down some wheel hexes to make it closer to 190mm and try some 13.5 Touring with it and will share my experiences here.

That was probably Dave Starks or you may be talking about the JL himself Jeffery Lin. It was my first time running the car out there today, once I get rid of the the push (I forgot to check droop ) it'll be DIALED like theirs. Pick one up and have some RCGT fun.
