Hi! My tekin g-12c isn't working properly. I put it in my new car and the light blinks and only the steering works. I have no throttle. The solder link is good.

Tekin has a micro fuse that you can replace if you can find one. Tekin is no longer in operation. Best thing is get another speedo.

The blinking light, is it a fast, dim red blink or is it a blinking like when you hit full throttle? if it's the first one, it needs to be serviced. I had this happen to 2 different Tekins, and both time it was a blown fet.

Yup, that's a sign something has blown. There's a thread on here where someone in california is doing service on Tekin stuff again

There was a guy, but he closed up shop about 6 months ago. I was about to send him my 2 BC112a chargers for firmware upgrades. Alas, his company is no more.

yep, that would be Express Tech. Sadly, like all of us Tekin lovers, it's time to move on.
