Default TIRES!! Questions

Hi,

I dont know what kind of tire should I use for high speed set up in a parking lot or in a large park...Asphalt or Cement..

I got a MM 9000kv motor geared 19/58 "stock gearing for tb02"

I have problems when using 24mm high traction slick tires, when i turn left or right i have difficulty in turning, its like its sliding and sometimes its like the servo cant turn the wheels. is it normal? do i really need to take it slow when turning left or right?

Or i need to upgrade my tires to a foam?
Also what is the minimum torque rating for the servo that I should use in high speed set up for 1/10 Touring car?
Does anyone knows the answer to my problem. Thanks!

The two points here is the servo sometimes cant steer it at high speed, and when it does its like minimal, and it slides too.

If you're putting all the power down on a 9000kV motor, you WILL have to slow down for corners. That is crazy power!
Foams won't help you, they will make you slide more at that sort of power.
I doubt ANY 1/10 set-up would allow you to turn well at full power.
For the servo, if the steering is lagging or not centering after a turn, you need more torque. Make sure it's metal geared and ball bearing at the least for the strain you will be putting on it

Default Amazing

Hi,

Thanks for reply, I just realized now that I made a nice set up..

Hehehe, because, when Im running the 9000kv motor at full throttle i turned the steering full to the left and it did not roll!

Its super fast, and I'll upload a video on it at youtube next week, ill put the title TB02 Mamba 9000kv so watch for it..
