I'm not one for constantly rebuilding motors and changing brushes.... I'm going to try a little softer setup....

I havent had a chance to fully try it yet, but its sweet. I got to run alittle on Sunday but the gearing wasnt right so the motor was cool/warm so i went up 2 teeth (34) but never had the chance to use it. I will keep you updated on it but thanks.

Cut the comm, replaced the brushes went back this weekend and the motor sucked... Using 767's purple/Red.... I was getting 164-168 watts on my dyno compared with 144 on the Chameleon.... The motor had no torque, no power and even stopped a few times... brushes weren't hanging up, went so far as to put new brushes and springs on it.... Not a happy camper here... When's the V2 hitting our shores???
some people say they have but I never could get mine to run well with 767's... 4499's with purple and red springs.. or red and green if its a big track..

Default 19t endurance

Hey guys i am new to the 19 turn scene and im looking at buying a 19t for our clubs endurance race and im also looking at racing 19t competitively, i was just wondering what brand of motor would be the best to use and the techniques to make it last longer out on the track, and also be competitive for normal racing.

any information would be awesome

thanks

Dave

The Reedy Quad is a great motor - you may want to cut the comm before you run it from the package ... for some reason the Quad comms are not 100 true from the factory (I actually cut the comm on any new motor just to be sure) ... a skim is all you need and your good to go.

Well Ive ran the reedy quad mag .. Good for running regular races , due to brush wear .. But for endurance races I would use a camelon C2 trinity 19t .. very good for regular races and very good for enduro races with out the excessive com /brush wear......

Default Motor advice

Hello I'm looking for a 19turns motor that has the following:
- 19turns,
- totally rebuildable,
- quad magnets,
- fixed timing at 24degrees

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
