First Electric Car
 

Looking for My first Electric car done some research and still don't no what car to by ive been looking a tamiya ,xray ,Team associated etc i also want to by running gear like motor ,speed controller, batterys and some basic tools etc ive got a radio and i got a budget of about $600-700 Would love sum advice sum pro and cons of each brand

this is just a quick rundown using Team Associated stuff, this is my brand of choice, thats why i went with them, and i just put the 13.5 motor there, im not sure of your driving skill but the 17.5 is the same price.

There are numerous good cars out there at the moment but as most would say, go with the one with the most part availability from you local hobby shop. Aslo go for what the racers at the track drive if you decide to race because it makes setup/advice/help a bit easier if you have the same ride. I would say Xray but thats because i have one.

Agreed. For bashing or racing, find out what inventory your local hobby shop or track actually replenishes. Then consider durability, performance, and price. If you go with a vehicle that's not supported then you'll have to stock up on parts if you don't want your day of racing to end early. Consider purchasing a second kit up front so you'll at least have a backup of every part.
