We suggest staying within the range on the label; check out the Ballistic Timing update I linked above for more info.

The Havoc Pro is rated 3.5T and above; we offer a Havoc Pro/Ballistic 3.5 BL System. The 3.5T stator would be fine in your Ballistic and will come with a black plastic insert instead of the colored insert designating your 17.5 spec wind motor.

How long is a custom built ballistic motor usually on backorder for? I ordered it about 9 days ago

I believe I ordered a

8.5 wound stator
black motor ring
13mm tuning rotor
stainless bearings
4" sensor cable

I ordered a Novak ballistic since if for whatever reason VTA rules change, i can just swap the stator and be set.

Anyway, what are people seeing as the best timing setting for VTA using a 21.5 ballistic? I am on a track where I want lots of torque.

I think we say 10 shop days for the custom build, but email [email protected] for assistance.

Novaktwo,
I was wondering if a 13mm Rotor would give my 17.5 Ballistic more torque in my Blitz.

You would not be legal if you change your rotor to 13 mm

How can you tell the difference (visually) in the 12.3 mm rotor and the 13 mm rotor?

hey guys why is the sensor cable so hard to remove from the motor?

I tried pulling mine out today and it wouldnt budge

I wasnt yanking it or stretching it

I was jus gently pulling it out then all of a sudden the cables rip off the plug

I lifted up the cover around the sensor and used a flathead to pry out the sensor plug and got it out....but are there any other ways to remove the sensor cable from the motor?

thanks......merry xmas everyone!

I have the same problem I have to buy a new sensor cable since the one came with the motor the wires is loose. Just gently wiggle it out and rubber seal needs to be push on the side when taking the sensor cable out.
