M8 or Helios?
Two years ago I went from a M8 to a R1. Now I am either am going to get another M8 or a KO Helios. I was wondering about reliability issues and glitching problems mainly. I have held both and I think they feel the same. Basicly, I am looking for some input on the KO radio. Any help?

the ko has the high responds receiver and its a lot newer design wise as for the M8 its been like that for ages!
but most inportantly you shod feel how the 2 radio feels in your hand..the the functions! the M8 is gonna come out with version 3 which has the HRS function

M8 with HRS
disaster999 do you have any information on when the M8 will have the HRS?
I was going to buy a Helios but I'd rather wait to get the Airtronics if they will be coming out with the HRS.
Thanks

I prefer the old MARS or MARS-R than the M8.....
About the HELIOS, no comments.....
Is simply the best radio....lightweight, good design, faster response, and includes the micro receiver which neither futaba and airtronics offer not even as optional part.....
on top off all that, the helios is cheaper than any competition level transmitter in the market.....

go with the helios
go with the helios. its a lot more comfortable esp. after you get the extension and tilt the wheel outward. it has a very natural feel to it.
the micro receiver is great. i have a surikarn, and had a yokomo which are both short on space..and i was able to put everything in without having to do anything like putting the receiver on the top deck or something.

I would opt for the Helios, I moved from Airtronics gear to KO gear years ago because of problems with the Airtronics equipment. Since switching to KO I have had ZERO problems. The first KO radio I had (the ORIGINAL EX-10) Lasted Forever!! After a year of faithful service with one of my friends and 3 years of racing two to three times a week with me, I finally wore out the steering potentiometer, so I sold it to a buddy really cheap and he sent it in to be fixed. He still uses it today. KO seems to offer the most reliable products at the best prices in the High-End market.

KO RULEZZZ
I ALWAYS PREFER KO PROPO....
SINCE I BOUGHT MY OLD KO EX-1 MARS I'VE DECIDE THAT I'LL BUY ONLY KO PROPO TRANSMITTERS......ALL PRODUCTS WHICH COME WITH THE RADIOS, FROM THE MANUAL TO THE RECEIVER, MADE BY KO PROPO ARE THE BEST......

mcsquish, the only airtronics radio I've ever own was a 2CSP or something of that nature and I wasn't very impressed with it. I've practically owned all the KO radios except the AM and the Helious(right now I'm using the Mars R) and I'm very happy with their radios. Their receivers are super tiny and I've never encountered any glitching with their radios.
