Looks like the Xpress Roadrunner is a carbon fiber chassis. This is a FRP graphite chassis like the Tamiya kits.

Maybe a TRF414 FRP??

It's for sure 100% an Xpress Sport (they called it a "Junior")...they came with FRP chassis and plastic bulkheads. Check it out http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...S307%26um%3D1t

Hmmm... so did they just advertise it with the carbon fiber look?

How old is this chassis?

I had one of these back in 2001-2ish, and back then it was already a few years. Decent car and they still make the Xpress roadrunner - not sure how similar or what version there are out now or if its completely compatible, but i'm sure some parts are universal. They have them for sale on rcmart i think.

good car though from what i remember.
