Anyway, put back in my Novak 10.5 and turned it down to stock timing with the same settings that I used on my 13.5 and it was as fast as anything else out there. Well done Hobbywing for this new firmware.

If I were to have a gripe, it would be the brakes. With the Novak (which is a weak on the brake front anyway) theres a delay in the brakes when you pull back on the stick. I recalibrated the transmitter before anyone asks. I have 100% brakes and 40% initial brakes. I hope theres a better brake in the future and it would be 100% perfect.

also put the reverse strength to 100%.

no you still run fwd/brake with no reverse.
A few guys just found that the brakes felt stronger when the reverse strength was at 100%.
Thats what i have mine set to and i have plenty brekes and can practically lock up the wheels.
Note though some motors do have stronger or weaker brakes than others.

Does anyone know why the XERUN 13.5 motor is a lower kv than all other brands? On one document, Hobbywing states it XERUN 13.5 is 2,500kv and another Hobbywing document says its 2,700kv. What's the true kv? I only got the 13.5 because the 17.5 motors from all other companies are between 2,200kv and 2,500kv. Seems odd to me

Xerun 60A is good down to a 5.5T for on-road (8.5T for off-road).

I don't know if this is normal with my Xerun 120A and 5.5T motor, please advise.

When I use it under sensored mode, the motor stutters/trembles when I press the throttle very very lightly. If I press a little harder, there is no stuttering.

If I disconnect the sensor cable so it will run in sensorless mode, there is no stuttering but it does require the throttle pressed a little bit more until the motor starts to turn.

I also had it happen to me. Check the leds: If the green is blinking, you re sensorless, even with sensor cable attached. I changed the sensor cable and it worked flawlessly...

This stuttering at light throttle also happens to my XERUN 60A V2.0 on a 13.5 Team Powers motor. I tried changing the cable, at first it worked okay but now the stuttering is back.

Use wire sensors Novak and problems disappear, with cables LRP and Speedpassion I had similar problems.
