No you have to physically download and reflash the programming card each time new software is released. There is a tab on the HW controller for update but it never works. So no you should see no problems mate.

Yes the 60amp Xerun is basically a Speed Passion GT2.0 LPF specs are the same so yes the software will run on the 60amp, but use a fan on the ESC if you are running the really hot software, just in case that's all.

Have fun coz the SP software is WAY quicker than the standard software.

Hi, cherry2blost.
Many thanks for the SP link I have done so and the 13.5t stock will have many revs more than ever before, thanks man.
I have also downloaded the MOD version and this software make the engine I have a big screamer (healthy sound and more powerfull) this engine did not make the revs before as it do now.
I am curious how it behave on the track stock as well as mod.
Thanks
Ed

SP 110 or 107.

Use 110, Timing at 26.25. DDRS at VI or VII gear at about 5.8ish and start from there, if it's a small track obviously come back up to the 6's or a huge track then down to the mid 5's but that should be an ok start point.

Thanks for the reply. Just tested on 107 before i had the chance to read your reply. Track is a fast technical track, so i geared it down to 5.2 with DDRS-9, timing-26.25 and temps are at 62c after 5 minutes. Doesnt seem enough for me as im trying to tune it so that i can keep with the the others who are running rbs and sxx stock spec. Heard the 107 is better than the 110? Any differences?

With 107 software ,DDRS-9 and timing 26.5 ,temps sould be higher than 62c.I sould try DDRS-VII,timing 22.5 geared up to 4.4-4.8. 107 runs almost 15c hotter than 110.

Have you added physical timing to the motor yet?

You mean the timing on the motor? I know most new motors built nowadays have timing setting on it but i cant seem to find any on my Team Powers 11.5t. Or are you talking about the AMTS on the esc?

Do you have the Team Powers sensored or sensorless motor? could be important.
I run Novaks and Fantoms, both have adjustable timing on the endbell we just crank that up a little to gain more top end.

He must be running sensorless, thats why he cannot see how to adjust timing on the endbell. But temp 62c with the 107 software and these settings on esc sounds wierd to me.

Hi Guys
First off, Thank you to those who have obviously done their homework and are willing to share their learned knowledge with the rest of us.
Most of us in our club traded in our silver cans and Ni-Cads for Hobbywing 60 amp 17.5 combos back when they first came out they were all were all version 1's, we ran a fixed gear ratio. Lipos were in their infancy. IMO it has produced some of the best racing in our club and even still today. Those who trash this product are surely not speaking from experience but from their bottoms.
I was able to install the SP ver. 1.32 software with my LCD box V 1.02. I have 2 questions maybe someone could answer for me. What is the advantage of flashing the box with the SP software?(Tried that but the box was not happy at all) The "Mode's 0-1-2" are only for storing the programmable settings not different software versions, correct?(I had high hopes but...)
Hope HW will produce a high end software for HW users soon
Thanks for you help Joe
