is this car still capable of competing against the newer cars?

maybe if you really really REALLY good!
the bd-5 is on another planet! if you had a mr4-tc BD, then its another story, as the BD is still pretty competitive.

Its the older MR-4TC PRO version. Has ssg carbon fiber upgrades and oneway front diff. aftermarket rear motor mount and ,upgraded rear drive hub assembly, Aluminum drive axles, upgraded shocks etc, TI turnbuckles etc......i think its like a 99 version if im not mistaken. it is belt driven though. thanks for the reply.

if 1999/2000 version then u should forget about it and get a new car...
