Default TA03F Suburu FRP Drifter/Racer

Here are some pics of my Drifter/Racer. TA03F is the best drift car hands down. I wasted the money on the HPI Pro-D but I like my TA-03F way better so I sold it on ebay.. But thats my opinion.

For drifting I use the stock 540 motor with a Novak Duster Sport ESC. $2.08 Lowe's DIY PVC Tires, 70 weight shock oil, stiff but flexible suspension, Front & Rear Stabilizer bars, it all works great.

For racing I use the Reedy Pulse R with a Novak Dually. 28t pinion, Tamiya Street tread tires. 40wt shock oil, medium rear/soft front, Its a pretty quick setup.

pics of my collection...Soon I'll post some close ups. Just got the new FRP 53306 Graphite Kit. Looks sweet!

I'm partial to my MR4TC SD

With a Tamiya silver can, I got the HPI V-Tread tires up to 56*C (133*F)

Wicked controllable drifts

But that is one sharp looking car you've got!

I jsut got a TA03F not so long ago for next to nothing. Recevied it, and it was new, had never even been finished! Had the original manual speed control and all!
Not sure what to do with it though. Was going to set it up for drifting, but not sure if it's worth spending money on, or just chuck a sheel on it and sit it on the shelf....

What kit do you have? I'd drift it. Or race it. Its a great car for both. How much did you pay for the kit?

I have a tt-01d for my rally chassis right now too. You'll like it. Works great. Mine has a Titan 12t motor lol. Thing rips. But I like my TA03's better for drifting & on road ripping. That thing would never touch dirt...ever

I have a TA05 wit a 13.5 for racing, just not sure if I should scratch a brand new, old, TA03F. They do have an underground legend status for drifting

Picture above is when she was fresh out of the box built. I chose to go box art specific on the body. Turned out really good for my first R/C build
