Default Reedy 19-Turn Quad Mag Spec Motor

Time to open up the thread for this motor. I used one this past weekend at the OC Circuit track in La Mirada. I know OSherman used it to win th 19 Turn Spec class. Great motor and very fast. Can't to start using it more!

Anyone else start using it? Please share your thoughts.

A good solid 19T. Good RPM and power. Not as fast as a C2 but much smoother.

I was fortunate enough to run both the Epic 19t Binary Outlaw and the Reedy 4-mag the same day. They are both really fast motors. The Epic has more top speed and more punch-but its got adjustable timing too!!! The Reedy is just plain smoooth with excellent mid and top end accelaration, just lacks the bottom end ooomph and very top speed. Its also got very little motor braking when entering a turn so it drives like a mod motor. Either lift and roll it into corners like a mod or dial in drag brake on your radio.

At the novak race this weekend, a 767 full with purple springs was working for a lot of people. We also cut the comm down to .325 but I do not think that made much if any difference. I dynoed all of the Team guys motors and they were all about the same including the ones I have from over the counter. It is a really good consistent motor.

On a fantom dyno they were all 82-84 power. On my Turbo dyno at 35 amps and 7 volts they were from 175-178 watts and one guy had a 180. We geared them with a rollout of 1.20 or higher.

Now im sorry for sounding like a complete noob to this sort of thing, but, well i am. I got a traxxas stampede for chrimbo and went and bought a reedy 19 turn mod spec motor for it, but coming to installing it i found it has four connections instead of the two which are on the current motor? Any thoughts? Am i missing an obvious point here or what? Please help :
