Default LiFe Batterries

Does anyone have any experience with the LiFerric batteries? I noticed the voltage is 3.3v per cell. The C ratings seem to be up there.

Anyone? Anyone?

I have used A123 cells.

They charge fast and are very robust, but can be dificult to fit on 1/10 onroad cars.

There are new life bateries wich arent built with round cells, like the new maxamps. They should be easier to fit, but i dont know if they are as reliable as the good old a123

It appears MaxAmps is ready if this cell becomes the next thing. I personally would think these would be awesome for at-home use. If your wanting to race, you'll be down on power.

Maybe these would be good for MOD TC or something like that. 5 cell has proven itself.

I have run the smaller sub-c sized ones in my 1/12 and love them. Lightweight, lots of punch and power and if geared correctly can make 8mins in stock

It was the MaxAmps that made me post the question. I didnt realize that the A123 used the same technology, although I have heard of them.

A123 designed and engineered the technology.
