I would think that since the ssx isn't even on the market yet, who knows?

The SXX is somewhat comparable to the current High-end LRP speedo, the 2007 TC Spec. Compare the specs between the two, and take into account that the SXX is a little more suited to the 21.5, 17.5, 13.5 and the 10.5 motors. The SpeedPassion is a good speedo as well, with the digital handheld programmer, and all of the tuning befits that come with that. The LPF speedo is the one I would choose for the "spec" motors, and the regular GT 2.0 is what I would probably pick for mod motors. I would pick based on what motor that you would like to run, and how many tuning options you would like to have.

Sean Cochran of associated sayed the SXX was designed more for mod not the spec motors.
The SPX is designed for more power with the spec motors.

Hmm, I had heard that it was a "spec" ESC. Guess I heard wrong.
Thanks for clearing that up. Guess it makes sence with that whole "Copper Core Cooling" thing I should have assumed that I would actually be needed.

Well, I have seen Reto "burito" König (LRP racing team manager and overall one of the most knowledgeable and helpful dudes in this business you'll ever come across) in several LRP related threads.

SP has more adjustability, which can be both good and bad thing (= more things to set wrong), LRP has a proven track record. The SXX prototypes won the last Worlds in Thailand, both 1:12 and touring, IIRC.

From the choices you list the SP GT hands down.
More tuneability and reliable as well as excellent support in the US.
For teh SXX there is a lot of horror stories going around and failures are rather common for this new esc.

A awesome alternative i would add is teh Tekin RS or RS Pro.
The Tekin or SP would be my suggestion and both have updateable software/firmware so no need to buy a new esc just download the latest features etc..

Give Speed Passion GT 2.0 a try....just the support from Schumacher/Speed Passion USA is top notch...you have question, they have answer, by phone, by email and by Rctech here...

BTW...my GT2.0 is the best speedo so far I have ever owned...the punch and the drag braking is just a hugh step forward from their V1.1 version.
