can you change the rotors in "stock" class ???
Yes, you can replace rotors in the stock/spec motors. Some club rules may limit the number of times you can replace them for a single event.

Rotors lose their magnetization if (repeatedly) overheated and therefore must be replaced to maintain optimum motor performance.

I have the:
10,5 speedpassion
10,5 LRP X11
10,5 Tekin Redline.

The Redline is by far the fastest motor.
It's faster with lipo than a 9,5 also on lipo.
The LRP can't keep up with it.
The speedpassion is only fast on smaller tracks. It is also not a reliable motor.

For me is it Tekin. More and more drivers get a Tekin motor out here.
Strong and fast and super quality.

I set the timing on the tekin motor to 10 or even lower.
The timing doesn't always make it faster.
My Speedpassion 9,5T is faster than my LRP X11 10,5T.
Just gear it the right way and the 9,5 is faster.
Except as you drive with a Tekin 10,5T!!!

Are their any news or talks about updating the GTB, or release of a newer esc with fetures similar to the Tekin and LRP? I have owned 4 LRP esc's and have all gone bad in a year of its life and ownership. I have had the gtb 4cell and no problems what so ever.

Oooooo! I want a ballistic 13.5 for sure. The only thing I didnt like about the normal ones was the fixed sensor wire

Are they going to be black like the mod motors? Or are they going to be different colors like trinity? Or hows that going to work?

We will be offering the Ballistic spec motors in 10.5, 13.5, 17.5 and 21.5 winds. Each wind will be identified by a colored insert affixed to the stator, located below the solder tabs. There is an exploded view of the motor here:

BRUSHLESS HAS GONE BALLISTIC

The motors have been submitted for ROAR approval. We will begin shipping the 13.5 and 17.5 winds by the end of the month, with the others to follow shortly.
