I am contempalting purchasing a used sp ver 1.0 esc and would loke to know if the software is upgradedable to ver 2.0? Is this esc still competive compared to the other top esc's? Also i will be running 13.5 brushless and was wondering who put out the best 13.5 motor?
Thanks for the help

Chris,

the 1.0 is the oldest. If you are goinf to get anything get the 1.1. As for upgrading, to my knowledge, no.

Tekin is the only upgradeable that has free upgrades.

As for motors, the Duo is a great motor. Personally, I'm selling all my motors and switching to Tekin.

And those you list are big too. 1-3mm? more like 6-7mm :P I think brushless are just big in general, but I dont know man. Your older version seems the biggest in the r/c biz to me.

Hey Adam, besides that above. What about the Exige 2.0 pro? Now thats what size I like. How good would that be in 13.5? Not anywhere near the level of a 2.0 lpf huh?
